Sant Baba Majha Singh Ji was born in Maksudpur. He paid attention to eradicate the social evils. He preached the gospel of Sikhism. After partition of India and Pakistan, his contribution in the field of Education and Social Reforms is praise worthy.

It is an honour for all of us that the name of such a venerable personality is associated with our educational institution, St. M. S. Karamjot Model School (Sant Majha Singh Karamjot Model School).
